Our History
One man, one truck, one dream... Scrap Metal in the Cinelli family began in 1956 when Joseph Cinelli Sr. purchased a truck to hustle scrap metal, paper and rags. Working 80 hour weeks Mr. Cinelli utilized his truck in the summer and weekends to sell watermelon through the streets of Jersey City and Hoboken, NJ. He drove a truck right up till his retirement at the age of 78. An honest hard working Family man, he earned the respect of all who have known him. Today Mr. Cinelli is quite proud of his sons that have taken his work ethic and have grown his one man-one truck business to one of the most modern progressive scrap metal companies in the Tri State area.
